Smile like Ethan is a foundation that brings awareness about cleft lip and palate in the community, set up as a partnership between parents and health professionals, is to bring support to parents; to provide baby supplies such as special bottle to parents in under developed country; to educate families and younger kids about self-esteem and to inspire them.

We believe that every child deserves a future filled with hope. According to study, every three minutes or for every 700 children who born, a child is born with a cleft. Here in America, when a child is born with a cleft, the first few weeks of the child’s life, a medical team is already in place to give proper care for the new born. A special team includes ENT Specialist, plastic surgeon, Nurse, and Orthodontist. Unfortunately, a child who’s born with cleft and lip palate any under developed country especially in a small village, faces greater challenges such as difficulty of eating, speaking and hearing. In top of that, the kid will face rejection by the society.
